Willy's Story

From puppy mill to KY

We adopted Willy on July 9, 2010. He was part of a puppy mill rescue that included several whippets. We found out he was blind in his left eye, but he sees pretty good out of the right one. He has retinal-degeneration in both eyes, but luckily his right eye hasn't gotten any worse. He is really a sweetheart and loves to play with his favorite toy, a yellow duck. Thanks to the entire staff at the Humane Society of Huron Valley for all the work they do rescuing and placing these wonderful pets like Willy.
