Takoda - the perfect fit!

We are thankful for this little man! (Previously Captain Snuggles)

My husband surprised me by telling me to go pick out a cat or kitten as a one year anniversary present. He couldn't have done any better on picking a gift for me! I drove all over southern Michigan looking at cats and kittens at various shelters, but didn't feel like any of them were a perfect match until I last minute decided to "swing into" HSHV and met Takoda. As soon as I got to hold him, we bonded... He was purring and fell asleep in my arms. I knew he was the one for us. The staff at the shelter were amazing and were such a great help! Takoda has adjusted wonderfully into his new home! My husband affectionately refers to him as the little terrorist because he follows us and our adult cat (keeps her young) around everywhere, terrorizing us until we give him attention. My husband works from home, so he gets constant loves! He really enjoys being held and carried around, sleeping between us on our pillows at night, car rides, wet cat food, and he loves the vets office where he knows he gets treats and is the focus of attention. We absolutely adore our little cantankerous spitfire Takoda who is absolutely fearless, yet LOVES all the attention we can possibly give him!
