Lucy becomes an Evalt!  Lucy becomes an Evalt! How Lucille became Lucy Evalt! The day before Mother's Day my husband and I went to HSHV to look at all the animals waiting for their forever home. While we were visiting, we started to look at another dog. It wasn't until we went to place a hold that we learned that the dog would chase cats. Well, we have a kitty named Bear at home, and we could not take that risk. The woman helping us let us know there was another dog named Lucille, and she would probably be a better fit. Once we saw her, I was instantly in love with her beautiful brown eyes. We took her for a walk, and it just felt right. We put a hold on her and the next morning we were filling out paperwork and taking our sweet girl home. She is now officially known as Lucy Evalt. She spends her days going on long walks, running after squirrels, making friends at the dog park and learning in her obedience class. Lucy also loves her kitty brother Bear. She has really made our lives feel more complete. We couldn't be happier! |
