Super Nova  Super Nova Nova is a star brighter than the rest. When I got to visit with Nova at HSHV, she slipped out of her cage and began examining the contents of the room. At that moment, I knew this curious kitten was coming home with me, never to be caged again. Nova just turned 10 months old and she still can't believe she is the only cat in my home. She has never had a place to herself, and she is finally coming out of her shell. She loves pouncing on her toys, dribbling balls across the room, climbing on perches, and watching birds and squirrels out the window. Yet with all her toys, she loves nothing more than her plain pink stick. Put it under a blanket and she will pounce happily for hours! Though she is still a bit of a shy kitten, she will happily sit for pets, cheek scratches, and belly rubs from the people she loves the most. Nova is active and playful, but extremely loving at the same time. She gives sweet and tender meows to welcome her human friends. I'm looking forward to many years ahead with this shining star. |
