A Gift of Love  A Gift of Love Matlock is the gift we were waiting for! He is a happy dog that loves life and belly rubs. When we decided to adopt a dog, the first place we visited was the Humane Society of Huron Valley, and somehow we didn't see Matlock that first time. We returned a couple of days later to have another look, and there he was: our adorable Matlock. I am sure everyone says the same thing about the first time they see their puppy, but when we first saw him, it was love at first sight. We played with him and walked with him, and decided to take him home that same day. That's how Matlock became the newest member of our family. It's been a week since he has been in our home, and the more we get to know him, the more we love him. Here are some things we've learned about Matlock: he is very loving, he looooves belly rubs and walks around the park, he looks forward to car rides, he takes the most peaceful and adorable naps, and he thinks his blanket is his best friend. We love him, he loves us, and we don't know how we ever lived without him. |
