A duck tale

How to teach a duck to swim

Dexter the duckDexter was a duck out of water -- literally. He was in a house with forty other animals and someone claiming to be a rescuer. But Dexter only had a trace amount of water -- not good for a duck.

So how do you teach a duck to swim? Check out this video!

Today, Dexter is... well, ducky!  He's living with some great folks who happen to have a pond that's just the right size for him. He has a crate he waddles into at night time, and he's even warmed up to other feathered friends who are now Dexter's new neighbors.

Dexter's old life and the way he'd been treated is now -- as they say -- water off a duck's back.
