Too early to be thinking about summer? Our dogs don't think so! Now through the end of February, get 50% off your registration fee for Walk & Wag and Run, HSHV's biggest pet party! Join us for a fun-filled day of games and activities for you and your furry friend(s). Walk & Wag and Run is in its 36th year, and each year just gets bigger and better. This year's event will be Saturday, May 16 at Rolling Hills Park in Ypsilanti and will include a 5K run, 1-mile walk, best pet trick contest, entertainment by the R & R Pet Paradise Dog Sports Team, and loads of activities for people and dogs of all ages and sizes. Your registration fee includes activities and lunch -- what a deal! Of course, Walk & Wag and Run is not only fun for everyone, it's also HSHV's biggest fundraiser of the year. The dogs (and their other animal buds) rely on your help to drum up the monies necessary to keep their bellies full. This year, our goal is to raise $200,000 for the most vulnerable animals in our community. Your participation ensures dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, deer and other wildlife -- even alpacas -- get the loving care they deserve.
