Junior Volunteer helps the homeless animals she already enjoys helping

Anita

Anita has learned the value of having a furry friend at her side, and loves animals so much she became a Junior Volunteer. She wanted to do more to help, however, and talked to her neighbors which appear to all be animal lovers too! They were so eager to help, and they helped Anita gather a bounty of iteams for our dogs: a soccer ball, four basketballs, eight dog toys, three towels, a new dog bed, dog snacks, dog clothes, a leash, and a sheet. Wow! Anita knows that the “beautiful animals” at HSHV “deserve better” and she felt compelled to help them. She also is planning to raise money in May with a dog walking fund raiser. Her dog, Lucky, is so lucky to have Anita, and she wants every homeless dog to have a home as great as hers. So do we, and thank you for the help to make that happen Anita!
