Blankets from Kind Girls Warm Hearts  Thurston Elementary girls make a big difference If you come to visit the shelter, you may notice some adorable fuzzy fleece blankets keeping the animals warm and feeling safe and loved this winter. If you see them, you can smile knowing that a group of young girls from Thurston elementary decided to help out the homeless and needy in their community. These great girls, Julia, Brynn, Kendra, Hailey, and Caroline, all decided to celebrate Thurston’s 50th anniversary by helping out HSHV. They love animals and chose to help the dogs and cats here at Huron Valley Humane Society to honor their school. Thank you so much for your help! |
