Kind Kid Turns Volunteer  Sophie finally gets her chance to help out We are lucky in our community to have a program for 12-17 year olds to lend a helping hand to the needy animals at HSHV. However, those loving kids that are not quite twelve may feel like the waiting takes forever! Sophie decided to celebrate her 12th birthday and then became a junior volunteer soon after. Sophie’s party was a medieval themed birthday where they solved the poisoning of a king. Sophie is so kind, I bet she couldn’t even play a character that could hurt someone else! We’re so lucky to get to work with Sophie through our Junior Volunteer program. Her first dog was a rescue dog and since she has become aware of the opportunity to volunteer she hasn’t stopped talking about it! Welcome to the team Sophie! |
