Ella Remembers What She Learned on a Field Trip

Local girl gives gifts instead of receiving them on her birthday

We asked Ella why she brought us so much dog food and money for the animals it’s not something that is done typically by anyone, and definitely by girls as young as she is. Ella said at her recent birthday party instead of asking for gifts she asked for donations to HSHV. She said she “loves animals and (because she can’t) have one of her own she wanted to give to them. I learned about the need for food on a school field trip.” The only thing better about kids learning about animals is putting that knowledge to good use. Thank you so much Ella! Happy Birthday!
