Celebrate Independence Day at HSHV!

July 5th and 6th at the Humane Society of Huron Valley

Celebrate Independence Day with the Humane Society of Huron Valley this weekend – July 5th & 6th!

Independence_DaysTo commemorate the Fourth of July holiday, every animal adopted will go home with a special treat and their new family will be entered to win a cat or dog gift basket! PLUS, adopt any senior cat (8 years or more) for only $17.76.

“During the summer months and currently, our shelter is often at capacity,” said Deb Kern HSHV Marketing Director. “Right now our shelter space is filled, plus over 200 animals are in HSHV foster homes. Our biggest concern at this point is that adult and senior cats are staying longer as families come looking for kittens. While we have lots of kittens to choose from, and are glad they are finding homes, we hope people might consider giving an adult feline a home, and especially our seniors.”

All the animals available for adoption at HSHV have been spayed/neutered, are up-to-date on vaccinations, have been medically and behaviorally evaluated, and also have a microchip ID, which is all included in the affordable adoption fees.

Give a deserving homeless animal their independence from the shelter and they will reward you with unconditional love. That is really something you can celebrate!
