Going the extra mile for Mandarin

Mandarin is now safe and snug living amongst HSHV's administrative staff

Mandarin was living the tough life of a stray cat.  She had difficulty fending for herself and was barely surviving.  Painful ulcers on her feet made it hard to walk and her tail was broken.  This tiny cat desperately needed help.  Many would have given up on her.  But we believe that she, like all the animals that come through our doors, deserve love and compassion.  Because of people like you, we were able to give that to her.

Mandarin is now safe and snug living amongst HSHV’s administrative staff until she meets her adoption match.  Her medical conditions have improved and she underwent surgery to fix her tail.  Mandarin loves to nap in her bed as the sun shines through the window.

She’s still warming up to us, but will flop over for belly rubs once you gain her trust.  We are so fortunate to have Mandarin’s presence in our daily lives.  She brings smiles and laughter to all those around her.  We know she will do the same for the lucky adopter who takes her home.

Here are a few fun facts about our Admin cats (cats currently living with our office staff at HSHV). Click on their name to view their full profile.
