My First Day as a "Cork" by Ella  My First Day as a "Cork" by Ella I think I'm going to like this place! I woke up with my people and had my medicine with peanut butter! I like peanut butter. Mom and I worked really hard, well I watched mom type a lot and talk on the phone a lot and it was hard work so I took a lot of naps. After mom worked she and I went for a short run. We run the same pace!! Sweet! We hatched a plan to get daddy to run with us for a mile 3 times a week. Then mom put me in a crate which I didn't like very much, but she came home with treats, beds and shampoo for me so I guess it was okay. I spent some time making sure I left a stuffed toy in every room so no one would forget I live here now. Then I got a bath which I guess was okay because mom and daddy said I smelled good and they gave me even more hugs and pets than before. I helped mom pick out some wine for dinner and then we chilled out for the night. I fell asleep at 8 and didn't get up again until 6 this morning. Now we are goin' for a car ride to recycle magazines and mom and daddy said we are going to work outside all day and I can run around with them.....I think I'm gonna like it here! |
