No one asks for as many hugs as Marvin Suggs
Sweet senior cat in his forever home
'Twas the week before Christmas
When all through the house, when nothing was stirring
Not catnip-filled mouse
The litterbox was set by the closet with care
In hopes that Marvin Suggs would soon be there

On December 18th, much beloved old man Marvin Suggs joined my family. He is currently spending his days sleeping on his heated faux sheepskin blanket, asking for hugs (really, he does this...insistently too!), helping me crochet blankets, playing hide and seek and generally being a delightful and majestic cuddlemonster.

During our vet check-up appointment at HSHV a month after adoption, our suspicions were confirmed that Marvin was nearly blind and could likely only see shadows. However, this certainly doesn't stop him; he has a Daredevil-like ability to hear things unnoticeable to most people...although he usually only uses his superpowers to hear when it's time for dinner
