Shannon Knows What Animals Deserve

Birthday party goes off with some unusual gifts

Perhaps our author is out of touch with kids, but young people aren’t typically asking for cat and dog food for their birthday gifts, are they? Shannon’s friends must have been confused when she asked them to bring goods to donate to HSHV instead of the typical stuff that 11-year-olds ask for. However, I’m sure Shannon cleared it up. When we asked her what was her inspiration to help HSHV’s animals, she said “I want all animals to have a safe and happy life.” Wanting something to happen is one thing, but today we celebrate Shannon going beyond words and made it happen for our furry friends. Thanks for saving up your allowance and having a birthday party to raise items for us! Shannon rules!
