Colby and Brady Graduate!Colby and Brady are two horses that received lifesaving care because of the HSHV Farm Animal Aid Fund (a fund only made possible because of generous people like you). Our Cruelty Investigators discovered the University of Findlay “Send A Horse to College” program and submitted Colby and Brady's applications. They were accepted and in December of 2013 began their education and training. on April 16, 2014, they both graduated. "Seeing them looking healthy and happy was amazing," said Michele Baxter, HSHV Cruelty Investigator. "They went from horses that were afraid and could not even be ridden, to horses that have learned to jump, and love people again." Their graduation was a wonderful celebration of how compassion and care can help animals overcome abusive pasts. Because of this program, both horses have found permanent homes as well. We are very happy for these outcomes and thank everyone who helped in their care.
