Joey Demonstrates the Power of Kindness

Compassionate Kid Helps Animals in Need

Joey thought that he didn’t really need anything for his birthday which is impressive enough as it is for a young kid. What is even more impressive is when he was trying to figure out what he wanted for his birthday he decided that the homeless animals at HSHV could use the help more than himself. Joey brought us dog food and money to help out the “dogs, cats, and other animals”. We love this kind kid story because Joey told us that “other friends of [his] have donated” so he thought he would donate too. What a great example of how compassion and kindness only creates more compassion and kindness. I wonder who will be the first of Joey’s friends that is inspired to follow in HIS footsteps. Thank you, Joey!
