Jacob Honors His Friend with a Gift  Area Kid Gives Back to Where His Buddy Came From Jacob and Amos are really good friends but Jacob didn’t meet Amos at school or at a summer camp, Jacob met Amos when he was behind bars -- cage bars at HSHV! Jacob’s family adopted Amos and this year when Jacob’s birthday was coming near he told his family he’d rather accept donations for HSHV instead of gifts at his birthday party. This super kind kid says that he “doesn’t need more toys, but I know the Humane Society can always use more…” You’re right Jacob, we can always use more money, more food, more toys, more volunteers, and more help from the community. But, if we could wish for more of ANYTHING, it would be for more kids like Jacob. Thanks, bud! |
