Ellie Wants to Pay Back the Animals

Local Girl Does Her Best to Help the Helpless

Ellie had her friends over to celebrate her birthday, but she didn’t ask for the normal party fare. Instead, her guests brought donations, pet food, treats, and toys for her birthday party. This is becoming a really excellent tradition and we love to see generous kids like Ellie forgoing their own short term happiness for the long term happiness of the animals. Ellie is a big animal lover but what is most intriguing is her motivation to help. She has seen how animals try to help people and realized she wanted to help them back. I’m sure many of our readers remember a time in their life when an animal was the only thing that could help them. So from all search and rescue dogs, therapy cats, dolphins who save drowning people, or just our beloved pets that make us feel special when we walk through the door thank you!
