Girl Scouts Change the World  Troop 40071 Make a Big Difference for Homeless Animals When the ladies of Girl Scout Troop 40071 came in we thought it was odd that FedEx had employed such a large group of young women but it had to have been a big shipment. It turns out those girls were not, in fact, delivery drivers, but they were drivers of a different sort. These girls organized an entire school wide donation drive for HSHV, as part of their Girl Scout Quest “It’s Your World Change it!” These hard working girls made posters and gave class presentations to advertise for the donation drive. They were motivated to help by their great love and animals and their desires to help. Soon enough it will be these young people’s world, and if the ladies of Troop 40071 are at all indicative of the quality of our youth, then we are in good hands. Thank you, Girl Scouts! |
