Hannah is such a special addition to our family! (formerly "Thelma")  Fitting right in! After spending a number of months contemplating adding an additional dog to our family and spending a lot of time researching different types of breeds... we finally felt ready to adopt! Although I had placed our name on a border collie rescue waiting list, my daughter and I decided to visit the Humane Society one day. And there she was! I just knew right away that she was mean't to join our family forever. She had such a sweet, gentle nature - having some border collie in her I knew she would have hours of fun with my two children! We hope to do agility with her and have her join us whilst out at the farm where we board our horse! Although Hannah was super scared in the shelter and struggled to walk on the lead etc, she made a rapid turn around upon arriving in our home on Sunday 16th March. Within 24 hours her and our dog Coco were big buddies and you could tell she knew she was loved! We cannot imagine our lives without her and can't wait for all the fun adventures we're going to have together as a family. Thank you everyone at the Humane Society for all you do - you are true guardian angels for all the animals you care for. |
