Elmo

Now living in Boulder Colorado

One spring day in 2012 while I was volunteering at HSHV, a transfer of puppies arrived from Mississippi with the Rescue Waggin' program. And in that transfer was my Elmo, an adorable lab/plott hound mix 3-month old brindle puppy. My boyfriend was unsure about adopting a dog, but I somehow convinced him to come to the shelter "just to look". ;) Just looking turned into, of course, adopting Elmo.

It's been almost 2 years since we brought Elmo home. We now live in Boulder, Colorado, and Elmo couldn't be happier with his new home! He loves the open spaces and to go biking, as well as the myriad off-leash hiking trails available. I love him more every day, and feel so lucky and privileged to witness his continued growth and development.
