Birthday Girl Wants to Help  Gabriela Confuses the Whole Point of Birthdays But We Don't Mind Gabriela did not come to HSHV with her shoes on her head, nor her gloves on her feet but she did seemed mixed up. She told as that she loves animals and she was at HSHV for her birthday, which seems like a great way to spend your special day. But, why was she trying to give us something? Gabriela said that she asked not for gifts but for donations that could be given to HSHV for her birthday, and came into HSHV with a big fat check to give to us. Gabriela we are so happy, and thankful, that you decided to reverse the roles for this year’s birthday and give to us instead of receiving. Everyone who volunteers here knows already this special secret: giving to those who are needy feels better than any gift you could conceive of.
