Emily Tries a Twist on the Classic Sweet 16  Young woman tries reversing the role on her birthday Emily really brings a new meaning to the “sweet 16”. This sweet girl decided that for her 16th birthday she would donate money rather than receive gifts. Emily thinks that doing this would be more “memorable for her sweet 16,” and we agree. New clothes or electronics soon become old clothes and dated electronics, but the memory of helping a precious life make it to their forever home will never fade or become passé. Emily knows she can’t adopt them all but we can tell she has enough room in her heart for a lot of love. Thank you Emily for your generosity and kindness! |
