Turtle Proves that Miracles Do Happen

Her transformation was incredible

Miracles can often grow out of extreme difficulties.  Turtle is one of those miracles.  He was rescued by our Cruelty Investigators from a neglectful owner.  He was silently suffering from a slew of severe health conditions including starvation and kidney failure.

There was not much we could do besides try to make him comfortable as his condition progressed. We placed him in a foster home to live out his days surrounded by love. 

But something else happened. 

After getting the right nutrition, medications, and a whole bunch of TLC, Turtle began to transform before our eyes.  Most importantly, his kidney function began to improve and the rest of his conditions followed suit.  No one expected such a strong comeback, not to mention how quickly his recovery progressed.

Eventually Turtle was healthy enough to start the next phase of his life – find the perfect family.  And he sure did!

Today, Turtle is living a dream life on 35 acres of land.  He goes on daily runs and walks and loves to play Frisbee.  He adores human attention and his new family is happy to give him plenty of it!

Because of donations from people like you, Turtle is now a happy, healthy, and much loved boy.
