My name is Zephyr (previously known as German). I am a 11 year old HSHValumni. Thank you for taking me in when my previous family surrendered me in 2009.

I am eternally grateful for the life saving treatment and love you gave me when you discovered I had heart worm and for the fund you set up to help
cover the expenses. My fair lady adopted me while I was undergoing treatment, sat with me for weeks while I was on bed rest, and has since hiked and traveled with me throughout North America.

This summer I even traveled the steepest paved road in Colorado and the highest bridge in California. Dogs need adventure, too! I've attached a pic of me running on the Pacific Ocean at Pismo Beach, CA, as well as an everyday picture of me (wishing I could go outside and chase chipmunks and squirrels). I get along with most everyone I meet and embrace what the kids today are calling "couch surfing."  

I would love to be you next Celebrity Spoksedog to show people that seniors are stars too!
