13 years later...  13 years later... Ruffy is my B.D.F.F. (best dog friend forever) Ruffy was adopted in 2001 when I came into the Humane Society of Huron Valley looking for a cat. Ruffy was "on sale" after he had been adopted and then returned because of his crazy amounts of energy. His price was not what kept me from going home without a cat that day, as I knew the second I saw him that he was my new future B.D.F.F. (best dog friend forever)! I learned quickly that he really did have crazy amounts of energy but soon discovered that he just needed love and some focus so we spent hours walking, playing and learning new tricks. He is the smartest, most loveable mutt I have ever met and I'm grateful that I found him. Even though he's now 13-years-old (and much calmer), I chose this picture from his 12th birthday because his smile says it all! |
