Two Sweet Boys  Two Sweet Boys Nucky and Gravy love each other We adopted Nucky (black and white cat on the left, formerly "Deputy Dog") in September, 2012 and Gravy (gray tabby on the right, formerly "Lyle") in September, 2013 and they quickly became best friends. These sweet guys are super lovable and we can't imagine our lives without them! Nucky, who was 5 months old when we adopted him, has grown into quite a big boy who is pretty quiet and laid-back. His favorite things to do include watching snowflakes out the window, getting cheek scratches, racing through the house with Gravy, and curling up for a nap in his "apartment" (soft-sided carrier with a Sherpa pad). Gravy is a little firecracker and loves to hunt toy mice, knead his paws on fluffy blankets, and bat Legos around the living room. He rarely meows but instead lets you know he's entering a room or wants to jump up on your lap by making a little trill noise. He's a real lap kitty too. Nucky and Gravy also like playing with our 3-year-old female cat, especially when the laser pointer is involved. Gravy and Nucky sleep on our bed at night and then race into our daughter's room when she wakes up to say "good morning." We just love our sweet guys and are so lucky to have them as part of our family! |
