Jackson Paw-lick  Jackson Paw-lick Georgia has a new companion After our much loved 15-year old hound mix (also an adoption from HSHV back in 1999!) passed away, we decided we wanted to try a little dog. We also have Georgia, a 4 year old rescue waggin' hound mix, and we needed a dog who fit well into laps and our little household pack. We adopted Jack from HSHV just before Thanksgiving and he made himself at home right away, making instant friends with Georgia despite her being about 4x his size, and spending some time in every lap in the house. As you can see, Georgia is quite taken with Jack, and even though he is a high-energy little terrier, he is attentive, patient, and very loving with kids, grownups, and guests alike. And even though he makes very short work of his dog toys, he is really learning which stuffed toys in the house are not his to eviscerate! What a great little dog and a treasured addition to our family. Thanks HSHV! |
