HSHV Can Do Can Donations  Hannah starts a can collection to raise money for HSHV The front desk workers’ collective jaws all dropped when we saw the big wad of cash she had tucked away in her jacket when she pulled it out and plopped it on the counter, and we didn’t even see the towels she had already brought into us and left in our donation bin. We were even more shocked when we learned that Hannah, who is twelve, had raised all of it by herself and she was giving it away to us! Hannah worked really hard collecting empty soda cans and gathered them for the deposit for all that money, all $181 dollars of it. That is 1,810 cans! Not only did she help our animals because “they could use it more than me” but she did it by recycling and saving the environment too! Pretty incredible work, and a great idea too. Thank you Hannah! |
