Double Birthday Party Yields Double Donations  Tess and Elizabeth Try a New Spin on the Classic Birthday Party November 22 is a special day for these two kids that share a birthday and a friendship. They may share a birthday but they are both unique individuals – most kids don’t think of awesome ideas like this. Tess and Elizabeth decided to celebrate their birthdays by asking their friends and family to please bring gifts to donate to the animals from our wish list, instead of asking for gifts for themselves. We are always impressed when kids make these types of decisions, but it makes more sense when we understand their motives. For these two, it was simple. Tess summed it up for us when she said “ they’re so cute, we want to help them!” Luckily HSHV animals are all cute so they all got to share the new wealth of dog and cat food and toys. You guys are awesome! |
