Local Kid Not to be Outdone by her Friends

Beth

Typically peer pressure is a bad thing – but when Beth heard about some of her friends who were donating items to HSHV or to the World Wildlife Fund she was easily persuaded to jump on the bandwagon.  She must be really clever because when her
birthday came around this year she decided to ask for donations for HSHV
instead of birthday gifts.  Those of us who work with kids know how hard it can be for them to sacrifice and share, so we were really impressed by how generous Beth was.  Beth is a great kid who gathered together a bevy of cat and dog food, kitten beds, and toys for the dogs and cats to play with.  This is the time of year to be thankful for all the great things we have, and today HSHV is thankful for Beth!
