Alexis make's her girl scout pack proud

The Silver Award is given to girls scouts that complete a big project to help out their communities, and we think Alexis has certainly earned hers!  We first met Alexis when she came into HSHV with a huge amount of donations, but these weren’t just any
donations but hand-made felt toys and beds for the dogs and cats.  Alexis worked very hard, spending more than 40 hours, tying bells and making square knots for our homeless friends that live here with us.  Alexis chose to help the animals at HSHV because she admires animals, and believes that they should feel loved and protected. 

Alexis is a special kid and felt genuine happiness at being able to help.  Alexis we are so happy to have met you, and proud!  Thank you so much Alexis!
