Two is better than one! People warned me about cats and kids, so I decided to get another one! The kitty in the picture on the right is Sookie. I adopted her in August in 2010. Someone left her in the parking lot and she was named "Cherry Hill". I immediately noticed something different about her, she had strange paws, she was a polydactyl cat with extra toes! She immediately warmed up to me and has been my baby ever since. She has an odd fascination with twist ties and is such a lover. Last year when I was 5 months pregnant I decided to add another kitty to our family. That's when Tigger (on left) joined us. Tigger (formerly Natasha) was a skinny Bengal kitty that was very vocal. She was returned by another owner for being too loud. I was nervous about getting another cat while I was pregnant but I felt that Sookie needed a friend. Over a year later I'm so happy I made the decision. Sookie and Tigger play together everyday and they are both very tolerant of my now 8 month old. We couldn't be happier. Both cats are so loving and sleep with me at night. We are one happy family! |
