Two awesome anonymous siblings

Two great kids in our community were sitting in church this
September when someone announced the great need that HSHV had with our recent
intake of 88 cats from a single household. 
When you’re young and you want to help sometimes your options are
limited – but these two kind kids took a page straight out of “The Gift of the
Magi” and decided to sacrifice something that they loved so that they could
help our animal friends.  These two
youths decided to sell their old bicycles so that they could raise some cash to
donate to help our new 88 friends.  So,
to whoever you are out there, thank you for your kind actions.  One of the nice things about walking, instead
of riding around, is that you get to see all the little parts of nature that you
would otherwise fly past.  I think these
generous animal loving souls are going to love that new change!
