I am officially a pit bull fan for life!

A week ago I adopted Milo - originally Mojo - a two year old pit bull mix from HSHV. I just recently moved out of my parents house into my own condo and was feeling very lonely living alone. Have no fear! Milo to the rescue!

This handsome man stole my heart the minute I met him at HSHV. So much so that I visited him three times in three days! I just knew he had to come home with me to his forever home.

Milo is a fantastic dog! I was told by HSHV that Milo was found as a stray - but you would never know it! Milo walks wonderfully on a leash. He does great on our long walks. He doesn't even bark at passing by dogs or bikers. He is also picking up potty training like a pro! He's only had one accident in the house. I am also working with Milo on clicker training. He's so smart! In the short week I've had him he already knows sit, down, paw, and high-five. My little genius. And my friends and family love Milo just as much as I do. He is a very loved and spoiled boy!

The staff at HSHV was understandably worried about Milo being home alone for my 7pm-7am nursing shift, but Milo handles it like a pro. We go on a 3-mile walk/jog before hand and he's ready to relax for the night.

Sorry for the long update but I just cannot say enough about this wonderful boy!! Thank you again HSHV for giving me my new best friend!! :]
