Crazy Cat Family  Crazy Cat Family As long as our cats are happy, we are happy. There is nothing better than giving a pet a home and tons of love! That is just what we did for 5 cats we adopted from HSHV along with an additional furry friend we found. In 2010, my husband and I were interested in adding a companion to our family. We found our first pet, Jasper, from a neighbor and he soon become a big part of our family. The beginning of 2011, we adopted a female who is now 4 years of age, Malaya (formerly Blythe) from HSHV. We felt that Jasper needed a companion and she seemed to be the perfect fit. She was very afraid at first to come around but within time, she felt more comfortable and warmed up to us. After that first adoption with HSHV, we have spread the word to our friends and family on how great they were and how much they care about animals and finding them all a great home. Later in 2011, we went back to HsHV "just to look" and ended up bringing home two brothers, Tonic and Rocky (formerly Harry and Gary) and had a handful at home. Our house quickly became very active and full of so much love. As if that weren't enough, a couple of months ago, my husband and I started talking about getting another new companion to bring into our already furry home. We took one last trip to HSHV, and there we had found our newest furry children, Harley and Chloe (formerly Batman and Chloe) and brought them home to our crazy, cat loving family. It didn't take very long for the cats to get used to each other and now they play, eat, sleep, and do everything else together. Some say we are crazy for having so many cats, but I must disagree. Our cats are our children and our family and we are so happy that we could give them all a great home that they love. I will always recommend HSHV to friends and family and anyone looking to adopt a furry friend! |
