A New Begining  A New Begining Mint, now named Bella, finds a forever home I adopted a little kitten from HSHV on June 16, 2013. I very suddenly and unexpectedly lost my cat Spaz in January. He was 16 years old and I had him since I was 10. He had been with me through every milestone in my life and I was devastated when he passed. I thought I would never be able to have another cat again. Then one day, on a an impulse, my boyfriend and I decided to visit HSHV just to take a look at the kittens. We instantly fell in love with a tiny, 1.8 lb little girl named Mint. I visited with her for an hour and the entire time she laid curled up in my lap purring. I knew instantly that I had to bring her home with me that day. After being with her and learning her personality we decided to rename her Bella (which means beautiful in Italian). Since the minute we brought her home she has been the perfect little kitten. She literally brought me back to life and showed me I could love another baby after Spaz. She's the biggest cuddler and just loves being around me and my boyfriend. She sleeps with us every night and brings joy to our lives every single day. I've had her now for 2 months and I can't imagine my life without her. Thank you HSHV for bringing me together with Bella and showing me I can help and love another kitten and give her a good home. Even though I still think about and miss Spaz every day, I'm so in love with Bella and so happy she made her way into my life. |
