HSHV's Innovative Community Cat Program is Helping Overpopulation

Ypsilanti Township is labeling a creative solution to controlling its booming
feral cat population a success.


In March, the township began a “Trap-Neuter-Return” pilot program in six neighborhoods that has reduced the number of orphaned feral  kittens there by 83 percent from 2012.
