Our baby girl Cinder!  Our baby girl Cinder! Cinder is the newest member of our family and loves her big brother Oz! About a year ago we were dropping off dog food at the shelter and walked through to look at the dogs as we did once a month. Cinder was the first dog we saw; she was a a mere 20 lbs curled up in the corner of a large kennel. We sat down hoping she would come to us and immediately she did! It was only then we realized there was something different about her, she had 3 legs! To my surprise she got around as if she was no different than any other dog. For the next few days all we though about was how adorable she was and couldn't get her off our minds. Within a week she was safely with us, in her new home. Being a pit bull mix many of our neighbors had reservations about her. We take her (and her big brother, german shepherd/black lab mix Oz) everywhere with us and educate people on what a wonderful breed the America Pit Bull Terrier is. Cinder and her sweet loving attitude have helped educate and open many minds to see that all dogs just want to be loved! |
