Elfie is so sweet  Elfie Ms Elfie (formerly Elf) was adopted on Christmas Eve 2011 We adopted Elf (Now Ms. Elfie) on Christmas Eve 2011, the last adoption before HSHV closed for the holiday. Elfie is a senior girl, 7 years old when we brought her home, so sweet, loves cheek rubs but very timid. Her paperwork said she had been feral before arriving at the shelter. She eventually bonded with my husband, she will sit quietly and just gaze at him for hours, he is her hero and rescuer! It has taken some time for her to relax and trust us - for the first six months or so she hid much of the time, but now she has blossomed, loves to sit in her favorite window seat and will even cautiously venture outside. She loves knowing she can come back in the house anytime, though, and always stays very close by! |
