Charlie found a home

A lost parakeet found a home with lots of friends.

Charlie was a stray parakeet brought in to the Humane Society several months ago. We already had three birds in a large cage, and wanted to round out the number to four. We brought Charlie home in a little cage and sat it next to the large one to introduce him to his new friends. We think Charlie must have been previously kept with other birds, because as soon as he heard them he became very excited and desperate to be with them. Now he gets on beautifully with the other birds, and seems thrilled to be part of a little flock.

Charlie is the green bird on the left in the photo.
