Cats need friends too!

After adopting my first adult cat from the Humane Society, I decided he needed a friend. I adopted a two year old female named Elaine. She's a bit shy, but so lovable once she gets to know you. Her favorite game is fetch with her special toy mouse. She brings it to me at all hours of the day, even carrying it into my bed. When I throw it she tears off after the mouse, sometimes sliding to a halt to grab it. She also loves belly rubs and often flops down on the rug for me to pet her when I get home (and really all the time). She and my other cat, Frank, often groom each other and play fight. They also team up in the morning to rouse me from bed for breakfast. Although the cats were full grown and did not know each other before I adopted them, they've adjust well to each other and my house, bringing lots of love with them!
