A forever home for Panda

Panda is doing great!

We brought her carrier into our downstairs bathroom (where the litter box will stay), thinking it would be a good idea to introduce her to the house slowly. We didn't know how she'd react when we opened the carrier door, but she came eagerly out. She is very much in love in with my younger son (he's nine); she licks him and sleeps on his bed. She is super affectionate with all the rest of us, too. She purrs loudly as soon as you start giving her head rubs. Like her description, she is very playful for an older cat. She especially likes a toy with a fleece "tail," and her little hedgehog filled with catnip. We established a relationship with a vet and will take her back in in a month for a weight check to see how she reacts to the amount of food they recommended. Overall, we are so happy to have Panda in our family, and we think she feels the same way!
