Barn Cat Update #2  Barn cat update #2 Not Mister Grumpy Pants Any Longer Hi again, awhile ago my family and I took in some cats from HSHV that were determined to be unsocial or unfit to be indoor cats. We received four cats in all, two of which were quite friendly and fit in right away. The other two, not so much. One cat in particular (named Sassey by HSHV) did not want much to do with us. He hung around and we fed him but would hiss or run away when we got to close, and he quickly became known as Mr. Grumpy Pants. Well, a few days ago, Mr. Grumpy Pants had a change of heart. He came up to me and asked for some food, and shortly there after let me pet him. From that point on, he was a changed man! We are now trying to think of a new name for him, since Mr. Grumpy Pants is no longer grumpy. This just goes to show that certain situations can bring out different personalities and maybe unsocial isn't unsocial after all. I'm including a picture of our very un-grumpy new friend. |
