Best Cats, ever!  Best Cats, ever! Adopted 2 unrelated cats in 2009 only to discover they were the greatest cats in existence. My husband and I adopted two cats from HSHV in 2009. One, Gir, had been in for weeks while the other, Zim, had only been in for a few hours. They were meant for each other even though they had never met - and together they were meant for us. Gir, a 16lb black tom, was the best snuggler I've ever met. He was so gentle and so loving. After a quick but mighty fight with lymphoma he passed away this June. Zim, a 13lb Maine Coon, is the softest and quirkiest cat. We are so happy to still have him. He can frequently be found relaxing in the middle of our group of 10 ducks. |
