Clinton Revisited

14-year old Clinton "Moosh" Short, reports back after 6 glorious months of non-stop love and attention, coveting every soft blanket in the house, and full bed rights.

I adopted Clinton in October 2014...the oldest puppy at HSHV at 14+ years. When he came to my house, he was sluggish and slow. After a few short weeks of constant attention, endless couch cuddling, and full rights to "his" side of the bed, he transformed into a playful pup...and he has yet to slow down.

It would appear that with each day he gets a little younger. He pulls me on walks--so excited to make his way to the park. He does a mad run followed by several spins every morning as I walk his food dish to his eating spot (he loves his dry food peppered with his favorite wet pate). And he follows me from room to room at all times of the day.

Clinton is a special dog...a true lover of his people. In fact, he greets every guest with his cute old-man bark, and will bark if someone leaves the room (until they come back). Everyone loves Clinton, but no one more than me. He is my baby, and is living it up in doggie luxury. I know he was special to many people at HSHV, which is why I wanted to take the time to send this follow up.

Not even his bloated Cushings belly slows him down...or prevents him from getting in a good nap (as you can see in the photo :-)). He's the happiest dog I know...and also the most loved.

Thank you again for bringing us together!
