Rico AKA Buttons He came to the end of the caged and kissed my nose, that was it! We were looking for another cat after the loss of my parents in 1998 and 1999. So In the summer of 1999 we came to the Humane Society of Huron Valley and took a look. As we walked through the room of cats, we saw a 6 month old cat then named Buttons. He walked to the front of the cage kissed my nose and that was it, Love. Adopted him that day. He was our 3rd cat at the time. We have been blessed every since that day. He has brought joy and comfort to us through some tough times. He was ill last year, we almost lost him. He has bounced back and we hope God grants us another year or more. Adopting at the humane society was a wonderful rewarding experience for us, and it gave Rico as we know him a wonderful life. So I hope and pray people will continue to support and adopt from the humane society and know the love one of these wonderful animals can provide. |
