Bored Pets? Interactive Toys Might Be the Answer!

Our pets are sick of winter too. Help keep them active.

ShopToysSmallIf you think you’re sick of this winter, imagine how your dog feels! Ice, snow and freezing temperatures have made even the shortest walks difficult and even dangerous.

Our pets can put on weight just like we do, and with lower activity it can happen quickly. Interactive toys, and interactive feeders are a great way to give your dog activity while they are snacking on their food. Another plus, they can help  fight off the winter boredom they have from not being able to prance around outdoors.

Think interactive toys are joust for dogs?  Let’s get real, our house cats have gotten lazy. They no longer need to hunt for food, all they have to do is saunter over to a bowl, which many do, multiple times a day. And, why is your cat sleeping so much? Not because they are energy efficient, but because he/she is bored.

The Humane Society of Huron Valley has an in-shelter store which carries an excellent selection of quality pet toys, all made in the U.S.A, and at affordable price to boot. And remember, when you purchase an item at HSHV, 100% of the proceeds go back to care for homeless animals in the shelter.  HSHV is open 7 days a week at 11am.

Can’t make it out of the driveway because of the weather? No worries, our online-store is easy to use and we are able to ship within a few days.

Right now we are featuring some wonderful interactive toys for canines and felines! Don’t miss these great prices.
